Patch Plaques™ began essentially as an Art Gallery selling all types of art prints mounted on wood and coated with a polymer, creating wall hangings that were different and frankly more striking than their framed counterparts.

In 1993, we were mounting a printed lithograph that looked as if it was actually embroidered. After applying the polymer to create the finished piece, it looked simply amazing.

This piece, having stirred discussion gave birth to the idea of enlarging actual Police, Fire and Military Patches and retaining their original shape.
A new division to the existing wall hanging business was born. 

Researching what was available at the time in the way of Plaques and Recognition Awards, it was obvious that our new product was desperately needed. As time went on, “Patch Plaques™” as we came to call them were overshadowing the prints/wall hanging business, so in 1996 the decision was made to cease the production of wall hangings and shift the focus to creating Patch Plaques exclusively.

   In 2017, the business moved into the hands of Chief Dennis Wayne, a business man as well as a Military Veteran and Law Enforcement Executive  and his Son Adam Wayne. Marketing to Law Enforcement since 1980, they bring a deep understanding of the pride in Public Safety including Fire Agencies and others from the Red & Blue lights profession.

Now, almost 25 years later, Patch Plaques™ remains as the front runner in
creating the highest quality and unique plaques in the industry.
